Apple Intelligence has gone live in China in the first iOS 27.3 beta, according to MacRumors' roundup of the update's features. The beta reached developers on November 3.
MacRumors lists the features now available to users in China: Live Translation, Writing Tools, Visual Intelligence, email and notification summaries, Clean Up in Photos, and Genmoji. The guide describes them as live in the beta, and it does not say when they would reach the general public.
There are limits. MacRumors notes that the new Siri AI is not available in China, and neither are the Apple Intelligence features added in iOS 27. Anyone on the beta in China therefore gets a narrower set of tools than iPhone owners in other regions.
The same beta carries several other changes that the site has covered separately, including Safari vertical tabs, new Siri AI actions in Apple apps, and a redesigned Health app. In its feature guide, MacRumors also says iOS 27.3 appears to add support for safety alerts tied to early-warning notices for users in China, though the outlet frames that as an apparent addition rather than a confirmed feature.
Apple has not detailed the China rollout in the sources reviewed here, so it is unclear which models, languages or services will support the features at launch, or when a public release might follow. Public betas of iOS 27.3 opened on November 5, and a December release is expected.
For now, the China availability is based on MacRumors' reading of the developer beta. Features in a beta can change or be removed before the final software ships, so details may shift as later builds arrive.
