Kevan Parekh

Chief Financial Officer

Apple's chief financial officer since January 1, 2025, who joined the company in 2013 and previously led financial planning and analysis.

Current At Apple: 2013-present

Biography

Kevan Parekh earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan and an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He worked at General Motors and at Thomson Reuters before moving to Apple in 2013.

At Apple he first worked on financial support for several business divisions, and later became vice president of financial planning and analysis and head of sales, retail and marketing finance. In those positions he worked in the finance organization led by Luca Maestri.

Apple announced that Parekh would succeed Maestri, and he took over as chief financial officer on January 1, 2025. Maestri moved to lead Apple's corporate services teams. As CFO, Parekh is part of the executive team under CEO John Ternus, and reports results such as the fiscal 2025 year in which Apple recorded revenue of about 416 billion dollars.

The role is a high-profile one: the CFO speaks to investors on every quarterly earnings call, reviews Apple's capital return programs and works with the operations team on product cost and supply planning. His appointment was announced in August 2024, giving several months for the transition from Maestri. He reports to the CEO, and his team publishes the company's results each quarter.
