Apple TV has renewed "Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars" for a third season, according to 9to5Mac. The renewal was confirmed by Apple on November 6, just hours after the second season wrapped up with its finale.
The new season will run for eight episodes, the same length as earlier seasons, based on 9to5Mac's report. The article does not give a premiere date for season three, and Apple has not been quoted here on timing.
What the show is

According to 9to5Mac, the first season premiered on Apple TV in 2025 and carries a 100 percent Tomatometer score. The report adds that the series has been nominated for a BAFTA Television Award in the Factual Entertainment category and won Best Popular Factual Programme at the 2026 Broadcast Digital Awards.

The renewal arrived on the same day that Apple TV premiered "Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook" with a two-episode debut, 9to5Mac notes, so the service's food-themed programming had an unusually full Friday.
Burgess, quoted in the report, said he is constantly surprised by the people and stories he finds in restaurants around the world and that he is thrilled to make a third season.
