Apple TV has released the trailer for "Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy," a new Peanuts holiday special that will premiere globally on Friday, November 13, 2026, according to Apple's Apple TV press site.

What the special is about

In the latest entry in the "Snoopy Presents" banner, the Peanuts kids are on their best behavior, but Snoopy has ended up on Santa's naughty list. With 12 days to go until Christmas, he sets out to prove he is not such a bad beagle after all, and learns along the way that the season is about more than gifts.

Music

Apple says the special is scored by Emmy-nominated composer Jeff Morrow and includes original songs from several well-known artists. John Legend contributes "Get Ready," produced by Raphael Saadiq, while Kamasi Washington, featuring Leon Bridges, performs "Trying to Get There." Laufey sings the holiday classic "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," produced by Spencer Stewart.

Who is behind it

The special is inspired by Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts comic strip and is produced by Peanuts and WildBrain. Apple lists Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, Logan McPherson, Paige Braddock, Chris Bracco and Mark Evestaff as executive producers.

Free viewing days

MacRumors, which also covered the announcement, reports that Apple TV will make two classics free to stream without a subscription: "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" on November 14 and 15, and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" on December 12 and 13.

The wider Peanuts deal

Apple describes Apple TV as the exclusive streaming home for all things Peanuts, under an expanded partnership with WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions that runs until 2030. Apple has carried the classic Peanuts library since 2020 and says it is in production on a new animated feature, "Snoopy Unleashed," in which Snoopy runs away from home and Charlie Brown and the gang go looking for him in the Big City. Apple has not given a release date for that film in this announcement.

Apple has not said how long the special runs.
