Unconfirmed rumor. The details below come from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, as relayed by MacRumors, and Apple has said nothing about them.

Gurman reports that Apple plans a two-day showcase in Los Angeles for content creators on October 27 and 28. It is not expected to be a traditional livestreamed Apple Event, but a set of hands-on "experiences" similar to the October 13 launches.

Four products are said to be on the list. The first is a 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with OLED touchscreens, M5 Pro or M5 Max chips, a Dynamic Island, a lighter body and possibly a cellular modem. The second is a 24-inch iMac with an M6 chip and new colors. The third is a 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6.

Rumor roundup. This piece summarises a Bloomberg report from Mark Gurman, as relayed by MacRumors on October 8.

The report said Apple would unveil smart home hardware on October 13: a new HomePod mini with new colors and a newer chip, an Apple TV 4K with an A19-class chip and an updated remote, and an entirely new hub with a square display of around 6 inches. Apple did announce a hub, an Apple TV and a HomePod mini on that day, though the final hub display size was 7 inches, which shows how details in rumors can shift.

Rumor: no new Vision Pro expected for at least two years

RumorsMay 11, 2026 at 9:19 AM

Unconfirmed report from May 2026. MacTrast relayed reporting from Mark Gurman's Power On newsletter dated May 10.

According to the report, Apple has not fully given up on the Vision Pro. It is said to be quietly working on technologies and materials that could go into a future headset that is cheaper, lighter and fully enclosed. However, no such product is reportedly in active development, and buyers hoping for a new Vision Pro model may need to wait at least two more years.

The rumored Vision Air headset was reportedly cancelled in 2025. Gurman says visionOS continues to be developed because it underpins Apple's higher-priority smart glasses plans and supports current Vision Pro owners.
