Mac mini (M6, 2026)
M6 and M5 Pro, Wi-Fi 7 and faster storage in the 5-inch cube.
Overview
Announced on August 25, 2026 and on sale from September 22, the new Mac mini kept the five-inch aluminum case. The M6 version has a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU with a Neural Accelerator in each core, dual 16-core Neural Engines and up to 170 GB/s of memory bandwidth; memory goes up to 32 GB.
The M5 Pro version offers a 15 or 18-core CPU, a 16 or 20-core GPU, up to 64 GB of memory and 307 GB/s of bandwidth, with three Thunderbolt 5 ports. Both models have two front USB-C ports and a headphone jack, HDMI and Ethernet on the back (2.5 Gigabit as standard, 10 Gigabit optional), Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and USB-C genlock support.
Storage is soldered, unlike the 2024 model. The price rose to $899 for the M6 and $1,699 for the M5 Pro.
