MacBook Air (13-inch, M4, 2025)
16 GB of memory as standard and a new Sky Blue color.
Overview
The M4 Air refreshed the formula with a faster chip and a lower starting price. The M4 offers a ten-core CPU and eight- or ten-core GPU, and the 16 GB base memory made the entry model more useful for multitasking and on-device AI features.
A 12-megapixel Center Stage camera with Desk View replaced the 1080p webcam, and the Liquid Retina display gained an optional nano-texture finish. A new Sky Blue color joined Midnight, Starlight and Silver, and the laptop could drive two external displays with its lid closed.
The design was identical to the earlier M2 and M3 models, with a fanless body, MagSafe charging and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. It remained on sale until M5 versions arrived in 2026.
