MacBook Air (15-inch, M4, 2025)
The bigger Air got M4, 16 GB and a better camera.
Overview
The 15-inch Air of 2025 followed the same recipe as the 13-inch model: an M4 chip with a ten-core CPU, up to ten GPU cores and a minimum of 16 GB of memory. Its 15.3-inch display, six-speaker audio system and large trackpad were unchanged.
The 12-megapixel Center Stage camera and the option of a nano-texture display improved video calls and bright-room use. Sky Blue joined the line, and the laptop could drive two external displays up to 6K with its lid closed.
Battery life stayed at up to 18 hours, and the model cost 1,199 dollars at launch, 100 dollars less than the previous generation.
Why it mattered
Cut the price of the large-screen Air and made a more capable base configuration.
